Florida Association for Student Success
Florida Association for Student Success is a state chapter of the National Organization for Student Success. We are an organization that represents and supports educators, students, student support specialists, and administrators dedicated to promoting student success for all students, including the underprepared and underrepresented. We advocate for holistic solutions to facilitate student success and college completion.
Be A Part of the FASS
Individual membership in the FASS is open to administrators and teachers who are interested in and support developmental education programs and goals. At present, the association has members in Florida community colleges, private post-secondary institutions, governmental agencies, and other professional organizations involved in delivering college preparatory instruction.
Congratulations to our very own Sharisse Bronson Turner, past President and current Treasurer of FASS, as she is the recipient of the NOSS 2021 Gladys R. Shaw Award for Outstanding Service and Support for Student Success! Sharisse is most deserving of this recognition, and we are so proud that she represents FASS. Sharisse, we celebrate with you!

FASS State Conference
The Florida Association for Student Success conference is designed to enhance the professional capabilities of educators in post-secondary institutions. Since 1977, FASS has prepared educators to better serve Florida students through the theory, delivery, and practice of developmental education, and through the design of programs to prepare effective curricula. This year we are committed to focusing on three goals: professional development, advocacy and outreach.
